Your East Millinocket School Department administrative team has worked very hard to prepare this plan in a mindful way to keep our students, staff and community safe.  They have considered the frequently changing and updated guidelines provided by the Maine CDC, Maine DOE, MEA and other interested parties.  A CoVid-19 Response Team was developed early in the summer and has met several times to provide input and make decisions on what our Return to School plan should look like.  The team prepared a plan for each of the three tiers that the Maine DOE requested:  what returning to school would look like if our county was announced to be "Red, Yellow, or Green".  When the Maine DOE announced that all counties in the state were "Green", the administrative team jumped into action on the in-person plan and presented it to the East Millinocket School Board at their meeting on August 12, 2020.

Students will be returning for their first day on September 8, 2020.  An updated school calendar will be posted to the website as soon as it is available.
